The City of Santa Ana encourages the public to participate in the decision-making process. The following notice is being provided so that you can ask questions, make comments and stay informed about projects that might be important to you. We encourage you to contact us prior to the Public Hearing if you have any questions. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN - The City Council of the City of Santa Ana will hold a public hearing to receive public testimony and will take action on the item described below. Proposed Action: The City of Santa Ana is proposing to adopt an ordinance extending Ordinance No. NS-3063 for 10 months and 15 days pursuant to Section 65858(a) of the California Government Code continuing a moratorium on the approval, commencement, establishment, relocation, or expansion of industrial uses within Specific Development No. 84 zoning district. Environmental Impact: Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, the proposed action is not subject to the requirements of CEQA pursuant to Section 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)3. The activity will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. Furthermore, the activity is not a project as defined in Section 15378 of the CEQA Guidelines, California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Chapter 3 because it has no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly. Meeting Details: This public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chamber, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701.
