Second and third generations of immigrant families, who are often more <br />affluent than first generations, typically have smaller family sizes and prefer similar housing opportunities to <br />noninunigrants". <br />According to the U.S. 2014 Poverty Guidelines, the poverty level for households with four to five people is <br />$23,850-$27,910 22 The 2014 ACS 5-Year Estimates report that 19.5% of families in Santa Ana live below the <br />poverty level. 23 Household income tends to limit mobility, and 6.7% of households in the City do not have access <br />to a vehicle.
