PI-ACL-001 (01/20) <br />Privacy Breach means a common law or statutory breach of confidence or violation of any common law <br />or statutory rights to privacy, including but not limited to breach of a privacy policy, breach of a person's <br />right of publicity, misappropriation of likeness, false light, intrusion upon a person's seclusion, or public <br />disclosure of a person's or animal's private information. Privacy Breach will also include a Corporate <br />Information Breach. <br />Security breach means: <br />1. Unauthorized access of the insured's computer system or unauthorized use of <br />computer systems including unauthorized access or unauthorized use resulting from <br />the theft of a password from the insured's computer system, <br />2. A denial of service attack against your computer systems; or <br />3. Infection of the insured's computer system by malicious code or transmission of <br />malicious code from the insured's computer systems, <br />whether any of the foregoing is a specifically targeted attack or a generally distributed attack. <br />Unauthorized access means the gaining of access to a computer system by an unauthorized person or <br />persons. <br />Unauthorized use means the use of a computer system by an unauthorized person or persons or an <br />authorized person in an unauthorized manner. <br />This Endorsement is an absolute exclusion for cyber liability, Electronic Data, Electronic Media and <br />Security Breaches. This Endorsement applies except if coverage is specifically and affirmatively <br />provided in the following coverage forms or endorsements issued by us and only in respect to the <br />coverage afforded in those coverage forms or endorsements.
