Grand Avenue <br />Century High School to Edinger Avenue <br />Existing Conditions and Recommendations <br />Grand Avenue from Century High School to Edinger Avenue is a <br />one-third mile stretch running north to south at the southeast edge of <br />the City with Century High School on the east side of the street and <br />light industry on the west side of the street. Light commercial retail <br />is located at the intersection with Edinger Avenue. A moderate level <br />of traffic and collisions occur on this stretch with one severe injury at <br />the intersection with Edinger Avenue during the study period. A high <br />quality pedestrian network of sidewalks, curb ramps, and bus stops <br />run along the street to support pedestrian mobility but no bicycle <br />facilities exist. High visibility crosswalks are missing.
