COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. C-3-3023 <br /> HARBOR BOULEVARD CONNECTED CORRIDOR PROJECTS <br /> 1 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY intends to issue procurements to award contracts for the study, <br /> 2 and implementation of the PROJECT; and <br /> 3 WHEREAS, the PROJECT will include approximately sixty (60) traffic signalized intersections <br /> 4 along the 12-mile Harbor Boulevard Bravo! Route 543 corridor as identified in the SMART, REAP 2.0, <br /> 5 and TIRCP applications (hereinafter, "APPLICATIONS"); and <br /> 6 WHEREAS, based on the AUTHORITY's Board of Directors approval of grant awards, the <br /> 7 AUTHORITY agrees to implement the PROJECT per the APPLICATIONS; and <br /> 8 WHEREAS, the PROJECT will include an innovative Transit Signal Priority(TSP) solution and <br /> 9 Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) elements as identified in the APPLICATIONS and other <br /> 10 associated systems (hereinafter collectively referred to as "ITS ELEMENTS"), that will be evaluated, <br /> 11 constructed, and/or installed and implemented as part of the PROJECT; and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY agrees to work with PARTICIPATING AGENCIES to coordinate <br /> 13 the inclusion of other ITS ELEMENTS that should be installed before or at the same time as the <br /> 14 construction of the PROJECT that the Parties deemed necessary for the essential operation of the <br /> 15 Harbor Boulevard corridor; and <br /> 16 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY and each respective Party shall provide <br /> 17 in-house resources (staff hours) to provide various services in support of the PROJECT; and <br /> 18 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY and the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES desire to enter into this <br /> 19 Agreement to implement the PROJECT; and <br /> 20 WHEREAS, this Agreement defines the specific terms, conditions, and funding responsibilities <br /> 21 between the AUTHORITY and the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES for the implementation of the <br /> 22 PROJECT; and <br /> 23 WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim's City Council approved this Agreement on the N/A day of <br /> 24 N/A 20 N/A <br /> 25 WHEREAS, the City of Fountain Valley's City Council approved this Agreement on the N/A <br /> 26 day of N/A , 20 N/A <br /> Page 2 of 15 <br />
