EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />TASK NO. 1 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />Meetings <br />1. Project kick-off meeting to review scope, schedule, budget and work plan. <br />2. Following status meetings (we have assumed a total of seven status meetings): <br /> a. Preliminary site layout including location of well, reservoirs, piping <br /> configuration, and discuss project phasing alternatives. <br /> b. Progress meeting to review City's comments on well drilling plans and <br /> specifications. <br /> c. Status meeting to discuss critical design issues (proposed bypass <br /> connections, chlorination, landscaping, and site improvements, etc.). <br /> d. Preliminary design of site, piping, reservoir, and wellhead plans <br /> including critical details. <br /> e. 50% completion stage progress meeting to review City's comments. <br /> £. 90% completion stage progress meeting to review City's comments. <br /> g. 100% completion stage to discuss bidding schedule. <br /> <br />Presentations <br />1. Make three presentations to neighborhood groups, City staff and/or City <br /> Council. <br />2. Prepare pictorial renderings to be used at the public presentations. We have <br /> assumed three (3) renderings will be required. <br /> <br />Project coordination, technical oversight and quality management. This will include a <br />monthly status report to track the project schedule, expenditures, cash flow curve <br />histogram, and identify potential delays and cost increases. <br /> <br />TASK NO. 2 - PRELIMINARY SITE LAYOUT <br /> <br />Preliminary Site Layout <br />1. Prepare preliminary site plan showing the location of the proposed reservoirs <br /> and Well No. 39. <br />2. Prepare preliminary piping configuration, including a suramary of the <br /> proposed operation flexibility. <br />3. Show proposed site work including new block walls, paving and site drainage. <br /> <br />Project Phasing Alternatives <br />1. Prepare a design memorandum discussing project phasing alternatives. The <br /> memorandum will contain cost and schedule implications for each alternative. <br /> <br />Preliminary Site Layout Submittal <br />1. Prepare letter submittal to the City of the preliminary site layout. <br />2.
