ORDINANCE N0.1355 <br /> <br /> AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ~ENDING SECTION <br /> 7207.1 TO PROVIDE MINIMUM WIDTHS FOR NEW STREETS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended by <br /> <br />amending Section 7207.1 of Chapter 2 Article VII to read as follows: <br /> "SECTION 7207.1. Same. Plat. Street Width. <br /> <br /> "(a) Before submitting any street or subdivision map <br /> <br /> to the Council for its approval, a plat showing a complete <br /> layout of streets, alleys, lots and blocks within the <br /> boundaries of the area to be subdivided shall be submitted <br /> to the Planning Commission for its approval. <br /> <br /> "(b) No street shall be accepted which is less than 60 <br /> feet in width, unless: (1) the street to be accepted is an <br /> extension of an existing street which is less than 60 feet <br /> in width, or (2) the length of a new street which might be <br /> developed (of which the street proposed to be accepted is <br /> a part) be necessarily less than 2,000 feet in length; pro- <br /> vided, however, that in no event shall any street be accept- <br /> ed of less than 50 feet in width." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br />this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in t~ree <br />issues of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published, <br />and circulated in the City of Santa Aha and hereby designated for <br />that purpose.
