0RDINA~CE NO. 1356 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDinG SECTIONS 3213 and 3309 OF THE SANTA ANA <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING SECTION 3234 THERETO PROVIDING <br /> PENALTIES AND FOR BAIL AND C0~I~VJING VIOLATIONS <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That Section 3213 of Chapter 2, Article III of <br />the Santa Aha Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 3213. Parking at Curb Painted Red Prohibited. <br /> <br /> "No person shall stop, stand or park any motor vehicle, <br /> whether attended or unattended, immediately adjacent to or <br /> <br />opposite, any curb which has <br />a bus may stop in such a red <br />bus loading zone; and except <br /> <br />been painted red; except that <br />zone marked or signposted as a <br />that a vehicle may stop, for the <br /> <br /> purpose of depositing mail in such a red zone marked or sign- <br /> posted for the purpose of permitting such deposit in a mail <br /> box so placed that an occupant of a vehicle is able to depos- <br /> it mail therein without leaving the vehicle." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: That Section 3309 of Chapter 3, Article III of <br /> <br />the Santa Aha Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 3309. Enforcement. Penalty. <br /> <br /> "(a) It shall be the duty of each police officer to take <br /> the nUmber of any meter at which any vehicle or thing is <br /> parked, placed, ranked, stored or left in violation of any of <br /> the provisions of this Chapter, the State vehicle license of <br /> such vehicle; the time and date of such over-parking, and the <br /> make of such vehicle, and to issue, in writing, a citation for <br /> said violation in the same form and subject to the same pro- <br /> cedure provided for by the Ordinances of the City and the laws <br /> of the State applicable to the traffic violation within the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
