ORDINANCE NO. NS-2 AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY <br /> AMENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATinG CHANGES IN DISTRICT <br /> BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING SHEET NUMBER 15 OF THE DISTRICTING <br /> MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> ¥~IEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa ~na has <br /> given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection <br /> with an application for change of District classification to cover <br /> the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings <br /> upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. <br /> 486 recommended such change to the City Council for adoption; and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of public hearing and <br />such public hearing has been regularly held and the Council does now <br />find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require <br />the following amendment and change in the present classi~ication of <br />the real property hereinafter described and that the uses under the <br />proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California described as: <br /> <br /> The West one-half of the block 0ounded as follows: On the <br /> East by North Main Street; on the South by West 10th Street; <br /> on the West by North Sycamore Street; and on the North by <br /> West Washington Avenue <br /> <br />be reclassified from C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial District) and <br />(Multiple-Family District) to the C-2 (General Commercial Districtt <br />and that Sheet Number 15 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- <br />sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published <br />within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa ~na <br />Register, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall <br />take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
