ORDINANCE NO. NS-3 AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AME~ING SHEET NUMBER 18 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann has given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection with an application for change of District classification to cover the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. 489 recommended such change to the City Council for adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular, notice of public hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and She ~o~ncil~does~now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classification of the real property hereinafter described and that the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, State of California described as: PARCEL l: Lots i and 37, the west 20 feet of Lot 2 and the west 20 feet of Lot 36 in Tract No. 1572, in the County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof re- corded in Book 46, page 16 of ~iscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County; PARCEL 2: The west 120 feet, measured to the center line of Bristol Street, 60 feet in width, of Lots 3 and 6 of the Bates Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book l, page 96 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within Tract No. 1572, in the County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 46, page 16, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, be reclassified from R-1 (Single Family Residence District) to the R-2 (Limited Multiple Residence District) and that Sheet Number 18 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the "Santa Ann Municipal Code" be amended to show such reclassification.
