ORDINANCE NO. NS-il AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING ARTIC--~THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING SHEET ~ER 31 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SH0~T THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection with an application for change of District classification to cover the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. 525 recommended the change hereinbelow set out to the City Council for adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and the Coun- cil does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and change ia the presen~ classification of the real property hereinafter described and that the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimen- tal to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, State of California describ~ed as: Lots 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and 32 in Block A and Lots'28, 29, 30 and 31 in Block B of Tract No. 531 as shown on a map recorded in Book 18 at Pages 2 and 3 of Niscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, be reclassified from R-1 (Single Family Residence District) and R-2 (Limited Multiple Residence District) to C-2 (General Commercial Dis- trier) and that Sheet No. 31 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ann Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Independent,
