ORDINANCE NO. NB-16 AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING SHEET NUMBER 18 OF THE DISTRICTING M~tP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann has given notice of public hearings as required by law in connection with an application for change of District classification to cover the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. 558 recommended the change hereinbelow set out to the City Council for adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and the Council does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classification of the real property hereinafter described and that the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimen- tal to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California described as: That portion of Lot i of the Bates Tract, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the south line of Section l, T. 5 S., R. l0 W., S.B.B. & M., distant south 89° 48' 40" West 200 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 1 of the Bates Tract, and running thence North 1° 15' East, parallel with the East line of said Lot l, 180 feet to an angle point in the West line of Tract No. 1306 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 39, at pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous ~aps, thence North 89° 48' 40" East along the South line and its Easterly extension of the alley as shown on said map of Tract No. 1306, 145 feet to the center line of Towner Street as shown on said map; thence South 00° 45' 10" West along said center line, 180 feet mo~e or less, to the south line of said Section ii thence South 89 48' 40" West 145.005 feet to the point of beginnings EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion of said land lying within Seventeenth Street on the South; ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion on the East lying within Towner Street, as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1306,
