ORDINANCE NO. NS-17 AME~1DLNG SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY A~ENDING A~TICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHa~N~F~ IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY AMENDING SHEET NUNBERSi_~_0F ~ DISTRICT- ING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION ~tEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa ~na has giwen notice of public hearings as required by law in connection with an application for change of District classification to cover the property herein described and has duly held two public hearings upon the question of such change and thereafter, by Resolution No. 557 recommended the change hereinbelow set out to the City Council for adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public hearing and such public hearing has been regularly held and the Council does now find that public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classification of the real property hereinafter described and that the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property lying in t~e City of Santa Aha, CounSy of Orange, State of California, described as: All that certain property on the South side of W. 17th Street descriSed as follows: Commencing at a point 1~5 feet West of the intersection of Flower and 17th Street thence Westerly 5~2.70 feet and for a depth of 169.70 feet; (at the~ncture of 17t~ and Freeman), Lots l, 2, 12 and 13 of Tract No. 122~; thence West 1~4.54 feet and for a depth of 140 feet; continuing ~est 371.25 feet and for a depth of 170 feet; thence West bwtween N. Rosewood Avenue and Baker Street, Lots ll, 12, 13, l~, 35 and ~6 of Tract ~o. 1196~ thence West between Baker and Louise Street for a depth of 135.7~ feet; thence between Louise and Bristol Streets for a depth of 160.7~ feet; AI~SO that property on the North side of West 17t~ Street described as follows:
