ORDINANCE kEIMBER NS-2~ AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE III OF <br /> THE SANTA ANA MU~CODE REGULATING THE MOVE~NT ~D <br /> PARKinG OF VEHICLES IN ALLEYS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~IE CITY OF SANTA Ai~A DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 3225 of Chapter 2, Article III of the <br />Santa ana Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 3225. Alleys. <br /> <br /> "(a) No person shall operate any vehicle in a Southerly <br /> <br /> or in an Easterly direction in any alley connecting two or <br /> more streets in or terminating in Central Traffic District <br /> A or B. <br /> <br /> "(b) NO person shall park any vehicle in any alley in the <br /> City of Santa ~na except while actively engaged in loading or <br /> unloading passengers, freight or merchandise. <br /> <br /> "For the purpose of this Section, an alley is defined <br /> <br /> as any way or place open to public vehicular traffic which <br /> <br /> has a usable width of 20 feet or less." <br /> <br /> SECTION~2~ The~iCle~k o2~the Council shall certify to the passage <br />of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 <br />days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent, <br />the official newspaper of the City.
