ORDINANCE NO. NS-26 AM~NDING SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING ARTICLE IX THEREOF CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND BY ANENDING SNE~,T NDI~ER 6 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION ' WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given notice of public hearings as required by law and has duly held 2 public hearings in connection with the application for change of District classification and by Resolution Number 567-A recommended the change to C-1 District instead of C-2 District as requested; and 'WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public hearing and such public hearing was regularly held and the Council does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classifica- tion of the real property hereafter described and that the uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the sur- rounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, TI~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN ASFOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California and des0ribed as: Northerly 300 feet of the Easterly 15 feet of ock 16 and the Northerly 300 feet of Block 21 the Town of Santa Aha East, as per map thereof .recorded in Book 10, pages ~3 and ~, Miscellaneous Maps of Los Angeles County, California, be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the-C-2 (General Commercial District) and that Sheet Numbered 6 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Zna Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
