ORDINANCE NO. NS-31 AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> BY A~ENDING A~THEREOF CREATING 0HANGES IN DISTRICT <br /> BOUND&RIES AND BY AMENDING SP~T NUMBER 39 OF THE DISTRICTING <br /> MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann has <br /> given notice of public hearings as required by law and has duly held <br /> two publiohearings in connection with the application for change of <br /> District Classification and by Resolution Number 608 recommended the <br /> change to C-1 District instead of C-2 District as requested; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public <br /> hearingand such public hearing was regularly held and the Council <br /> does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare. <br /> require the following amendment and change in the present classifi- <br /> cation of the real property hereafter described and that the uses <br /> under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the <br /> surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> 0RDAINAS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa <br /> Ann, County of Orange, State of California and described as: <br /> <br /> The North 430 feet of the West 190 feet of the West half <br /> of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section <br /> 25, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., except the <br /> West 50 feet and the North 30 feet thereof, located on the <br /> South side of Edinger Street between Bristol and Baker Streets, <br /> <br /> be reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-1 (Neighborhood Com- <br /> mercial District) and that Sheet Numbered 39 of the Districting Map <br /> of Article IX of the Santa Ann Municipal Code be amended to show such <br /> reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- <br /> sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with- <br /> in.15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Inde- <br /> <br /> pendent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall <br />take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
