ORDINANCE NO. NS-I~ APPROVING '£~ ANNEXATION OF THAT CE~Ta~IN 'I'E~'~ITO--~ DESIGNATED "SANTA ANA HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT" the City Council of the City of Santa Ann did on April 5, 1954, by Resolution No. 54=~8, declare its intention to -~-ex certain un- territory inh&bite~, which said Resolution was regularly published in the Santa Ann Independent and the Tmstin News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due. notice of public hearing to be held on the 17th day of May, 1954; and ~EI~M~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, TI~I~FORE, 'l'n~; CITY COUNCIL OF ','n~;~IT~ OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FO~S: SECTION 1~ That after due hearing regularly held in all respects as required by law and as more particularly shoWn in the files of this proceeding, we do find smd ordain that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein describe~ that due and regular notice of the time and place of hearing was given, and that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ann, California. SECTION 2. That ail of the uninhabited territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Begi-~fng at a point in the center line of Edinger Street, distant 2641.92 feet Westerly from the intersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the center line of Bristol Street, said point of hegi-~ug heingoan angle point in the Santa Ann City Boundary; thenc~ South O 11' 40" West 1071.21 feet to a point; thence South 89 29' 40" West 1214.~0 feet to a point; thence North 2° 45' 36" West 60.05 fee. t tea point; thence South 89° 29' 40" West 59.67 feet to the East line of Center Street; thence North 0° 30' 20" West along the East line of Center Street and its Northerly extension 1011.13 feet to the center line of Edinger Street; thence North 89° 29' ~O" East along the center line of Edinger Street 629.52 feet to a point; thence North 0° 24' 19" West 330.00 feet to a point; thence North 89° 29' 40" East 659.12 feet to a point in the Santa Ann City Boundary; thence South 0~ 33' 30" East along said Boundary line 330.00 feet to the point of Ail bearings and distances are as shown on a licensed Surveyor's Map filed in Book 27, Page 28, of Recor&of Survey in the office of the County Recorder of Or~-~me County, California~ be and the s-,~ is hereby annexed to and shall bec~ a part of the City of Santa Aha, and the _~-~exation of said territory is by this Ordinance effected, approved, and declared to take effect from and after the effective date of this Ordinance.
