ORDINANCE NO. NS-48 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DIS- <br />TRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 6 OF THE <br />DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of <br />and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for <br />change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 636 recommended to <br />the City Council the change requested in said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a <br />public hearing on said application and does now find the public necessity, <br />convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and change <br />in classification and that the uses under the new classification will not <br />be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of <br />Orange, State of California, described below be reclassified as follows: <br /> <br /> From R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 District: <br /> <br /> Block 22 of the Town of Santa Ana East, as shown on a map <br /> thereof recorded in Book 10, pages 43 and ~4 of Miscellaneous <br /> Records of Los Angeles County, California. <br /> <br />and that Sheets No. 6 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of <br />this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after <br />its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent.
