ORDINANCE NO. NS-~9 DECLARIN~ ~E ANNEXATION OF ~AT <br /> <br />CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FRANK BORCHARD ANNEX NO. 1". <br /> <br />W~EAS,.~he City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on <br /> <br />May 17, 1954 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br /> <br />territory by Resolution No. 54-62, which said Resolution was <br /> <br />~egularly PUblished in the Santa Ana Independent and the Orange Daily <br /> <br />News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice <br /> <br />of public hearing to be held on the 21st day of June, 1954; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no protests or objections <br /> <br />to said propesed annexation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTTE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all <br /> <br />respects as required by law it finds that there was no protest to <br /> <br />the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of <br /> <br />the time and place of hearing was given, that said territory was <br /> <br />uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed and <br /> <br />that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br /> <br />of Orange, State of California described as: <br /> <br /> That certain portion of the Rancho Santiago De Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract 560 as <br />shcw~ on a map thereof recorded in Book 19, page 2 of <br />Miscellaneous Naps, Official Records of Orange County, <br />said point of beginning being in a portion of the bound- <br />ary of the City of Santa Ana and ~nning thence Northerly <br />833.00 Feet along the West line of Tract 696 and the North- <br />erly extension thereof as shown on a map thereof recorded <br />in Book 20, pages 45 and 46 of said Official Records; <br />thence Westerly at right angles 107.00 feet; thence North- <br />erly at right angles 27.00 feet; thence Westerly at right <br />angles992.00 feet; thence Northerly at right angles 5.00 <br />feet; thence Westerly at right angles 238.65 feet to an <br />intersection with the East line of Tract 252 as shown on <br />a map thereof recorded in Book 13, page 33 of said Official <br />Records, said point of intersection being atao on' the East <br />line of Maple Alley and a portion of the Easterly Boundary <br />of the City of Santa Aha; Thence Southerly 864.87 feet <br />along said East line of Tract 252 also the East line of <br />Maple Alley and said portion of the Easterly Boundary of <br />the City of Santa Aha to an angle point in said boundary <br />of the City of Santa Aha, being the Westerly prolongation <br />of said North line of Tract 560; Thence Easterly alonE the <br />said Westerly prolongation of the North line of Tract 560 <br /> <br /> <br />
