ORDINANCE NO. NB-~53 DECLARING THE.ANNEXATION OF THAT <br />CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED ,w ANTONE BORCHARD ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on <br />May 17, 1954 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 54-63, which said Resolution was <br />Pegularly published in the Santa Ana Independent and Orange Daily <br />News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice <br />of public heaping to be held on the 21st day of June, 1954; and <br /> <br /> WHE~EAS, at said hearing there were no Objections or pro- <br />tests to said proposed annemation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTIONi 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all <br />respects as required by law and as more particularly shown in the <br />files of this proceeding, it finds that there was no protest to <br />the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice <br />of the time and place of hearing was given and that said territory <br />was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation <br />was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa <br />Ana, California. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the <br />County of Orange, State of California described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the North line of Section <br /> 25, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S. B. B. & M., 990 <br /> feet Westerly from the Northeast corner of said Section <br /> 25, said point of beginning also being a point on the <br /> boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, California; <br /> running thence North 89° 22' 10" West along said boundary <br /> line and the center line of Delhi Road, 1588.00 feet to <br /> a point; thence South 0° 39' 45" West, 3058.27 feet to <br /> the Northwesterly Right-of-Way line of the Pacific <br /> Electric Railway; thence North 60° 53' 30" East along <br /> said Northwesterly Right-of-Way l~ne, 1829.45 feet to <br /> a point; thence North OO 39' 45" East, 2150.78 feet to <br /> the point of beginning~ <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of <br />the City of Santa Ana, and said annexation is by this Ordinance ~ <br />effected, approved and declared to take effect from and a~ter the <br /> <br /> <br />
