ORDINANCE NO. NS-57 AM]~DING SECTION 9116 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE TO INCREASE THE FEES ON VARIANCES AND ZONE CHANP-W-~. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code be and the same is hereby <br />amended by amending Section 9116 of Chapter i of Article IX thereof to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 9116. Petitions, Fees, Reapplication. <br /> <br /> "Petitions. The Planning Commission shall prescribe the form in which <br /> applications for changes of district boundaries or classifications or for <br /> variances are made, and may require the filing therewith of any plans, pro- <br /> files, elevations or specifications necessary for a f1~]1 understanding. It <br /> may prepare and provide blanks for such purpose and may prescribe the type, <br /> nature and amount of information to be provided in the application by the <br /> petitioner. No petition shall be received unless it complies with such <br /> requirements. If signature of persons other than the owners of property <br /> making the application are required or offered in support of, or in <br /> opposition to, the application then may be received as evidence of notice <br /> having been served upon them of the pending application or as evidence of <br /> their opinion on the pending issue, but they shall in no case infringe upon <br /> the free exercise of the powers vested in the City. <br /> <br /> "Petitions or applications filed pursuant to this Chapter shall be <br /> numbered consecutively in the order of their filing and shall become a <br /> part of the permanent official records of the Planning Com~ssion, and <br /> there shall be attached thereto and permanently filed therewith copies of <br /> all notices and actions with affidavits of posting, mailing or publication <br /> pertaining thereto. <br /> <br /> · "A fee of Thirty-five Dollars shall be paid upon the filing of each <br /> petition under Section 911& to Section 911&.2 inclusive and a fee of <br /> Seventy-five Dollars shall be paid upon the filing of each petition pro- <br /> vided for in Section.gllS, for the purpose of defraying the expense of post- <br /> age, posting, advertising and other costs incidental to the proceedings <br /> prescribed herein.
