NS-68 AMENDING SECTION 8300 AND REPEALING <br />OTHER SECTIONS, ALL OF CHAI~II~ 3, ARTICLE VIII OF T~E <br />SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY ~ENCE A SANTA ANA <br />ELECTRICAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, three copies of the !'Santa Ama Electrical Code", <br /> which contains detailed regulations pertaining to the installation of electrical <br /> wiring in buildings within the City, which said regulations have been arraigne~ <br /> ns a comprehensive code and printed in book form, have been filed with the Clerk <br /> of the Council for permaaent record and public inspection, <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, notice that the sam, have been so made available for public in- <br /> spection and the date, hour and place of this meeting at which said Electrical <br /> Code is to be considered for final azloption by reference, has been duly published <br /> and a public hearing thereon duly held. <br /> <br /> NOW, '.'am~{EFOBE, T~E CITY COUNCIL OF 'A'.~ CITY OF SAN~A ANA DOES ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> ~ECTION 1. That Section 8300 of Chapter 3, Article VIII of the Santa Aha <br /> <br />Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 8300. Adoption of Electrical <br /> <br /> That certain doc,,m-nt in book form, entitled "Santa Aha Electrical <br /> Code", three copies of which are now on file in the office of the Clerk <br /> of the Council, is hereby a~lopted and enacted by reference, as provided <br /> for in Section ~19 of the Charter of the City of Santa Aha, as the <br /> Electrical Co~e of said City to have the same force and effect and <br /> carry the s,~m~ penalties as any other ordinance of the City." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That Sections 8301, '8302, 8303, 830~, 8307, 8308, 8312 and <br /> <br />8313 of Chapter 3, Article VIII of the 8ants Aha Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> S~ION 3.
