ORDINANCE NO. NS-80 AMENDING SECTION 9111, CHAPTER 1, <br />ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD CERTAIN <br />USES TO THOSE PROHIBITED IN AN M-1 (MANUFACTURING) DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEP~EAS, after recommendation by the Planning Commission made after <br /> <br />a public hearing and after public hearing before the City Council all held <br />and conducted as required by law, the City Council finds that the public health, <br />safety and welfare require the changes so recommended and hereinbelow set out. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 9111 of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "SECTION 9111. M-1 (MANUFACTURING DISTRICT) USES PERMIT~£~ED. <br /> <br /> (a) All uses permitted in R-l, R-2, R-3, P, C, C-t and C-2 Districts <br /> but under the same limitations and restrictions as specified in <br /> Sections governing same. <br /> <br /> (b) Any use other than the following which are expressly prohibited: <br /> 1. Abattoir (except poultry dressing for retail sales from <br /> <br /> premises), <br /> <br /> 2. Auto wrecking~ <br /> <br /> 3. Asphalt, mixing, refining and storage plants, <br /> <br /> 4. Absorption plants, <br /> <br /> 5. Bag manufacturing and cleaning, <br /> <br /> 6. Blast furnace, <br /> <br /> 7. Boiler works, <br /> <br /> 8. Bunkers, rock and/or sand, <br /> <br /> 9. Coke ovens, <br /> <br />10. Cooperage works: <br /> <br />11. Cordage m~lls, <br /> <br />12. Creosote stor~e or manufacturing, <br /> Crude oil handling, and/or transshipping, <br /> Distillation of coal, wood or bone, <br /> <br />15. Distillation of liquor or spirits, <br /> <br />16. Fat rendering, <br /> <br />17. Fertilizer works, <br /> <br />18. Foundries, <br /> <br /> <br />
