NOTICE OF]ELECTION <br /> <br /> Notice is hereby given that a general municipal election will be held <br />in the City of Santa Ana, Orange County~ California, and in some territory out- <br />side of the City of Santa Aha adjacent thereto, on Tuesday, the 12th day of <br />April, 19553 that the poles will be open between the hours of 7 A. M. and <br />7 P. M. for the election of the following officers: <br /> <br /> 1. Two members of the City Council to be nominated from Wards Two and <br />Four and elected by the electors of the City at large, the term of each to be- <br />gin on April 19, 1955, and to hold office until the second Tuesday of April, <br />1959. <br /> <br /> 2. Three members of the Board of Education to be elected at large, the <br />term of each to begin on April 19, 1955~ the two members elected to the Board <br />of Education for the full term to hold office until the second Tuesday of April, <br />1959~ and the one member elected to the Board of Education for the short term <br />to hold office until the second Tuesday of Apri% 1957. <br /> <br /> That consolidated voting Precinct No. 49 hereinbelow described is the <br />territory outside of the City of Santa Ana and that the vote therein will be <br />limited to the election of said three members of the Board of Education here- <br />inabove referred to. <br /> <br /> There will be 49 consolidated voting precincts for the purpose of <br />holding the election, consisting of either the regular election precincts <br />established for holding State and County elections or a consolidation of some <br />of such precincts. <br /> <br /> The location of the polling places, the precinct election officers and <br />the details of such consolidation are as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
