ORDINANCE NO. NS-89 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF 'l'a~ SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE C~-'-~G CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SH~,:TS N0S.22, 23 and 25 OF 'fn~ DISTRICTING MAP TO SNOW THE RECLASSIFICATION. W~.REAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 739 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WH~:~J%S, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, '~'~ORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1. A parcel of land bounded Northerly by the center line of Seventeenth Street, Southerly by a line parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street and distant Southerly therefrom 190 feet measured at right angles, Easterly by the East li~e of Lot 3 and Westerly by the West line of Lot K as shown on a map recorded in Book 3, page 7, Record of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. PARCEL 2. Lots l, 2, 3, 4 and 5 as shown on a map recorded in Book 3, Page 42, Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. PARCEL 3. Lots l, 2, 3 and 85 through 102, both inclusive of Tract No. 147~ as per map recorded in Book ~34, at pages 4 and 5. PARCEL ~. A parcel of land bounded westerly by the East line of Lots lO1 and 102 in Tract No. 1478, Southerly by the North line of Seventeenth Street, Northerly by the Easterly extension of the North line of said Lot 102 in Tract No. 1478, and Easterly by a line ~00 feet Easterly of the said Westerly boundary, be reclassified from R-2 District to the C-1 District and that Sheets Nos. 22, 23 and 25 of the Di.stricting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council sD-11 certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
