ORDINANCE NO. NS-95 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNA~ED "BRISTOL STREET BAPTIST CHURCH ANNE~', WNEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on February 14, 1955, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 55-38, which said Resolution was regularly published in the ~ta Aha Independent and Orange Deily News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on April 4, 1955; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, ~DRE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all respects as required by law and as more particularly shown in the files of this proceeding, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for ~nexation w~s filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California; that written consent, of all the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City con- tracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. SECTION 2. That ~11 of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the S. E. corner of the N. E. Quarter of Section 23~ T. 5 S., R. l0 W., S. B. B. & M., said point of beginning being an angle point in the city boundary of the City of Santa AD~ California; thence South 8~° 31' 30" West 974.16 feet along said CitYobOUndary; thence North 0 12 O0 East 2Lx3.25 feet, thence North_89 27 45 East 974.16 feet to said City boundary; thence South 0 lZ 00 West along said City boundary 229.74 feet to the point of beginning; be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Ana, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa Ana High School District, and Santa Aha Junior College District, and said anmexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared to take effect from and after the effective date of this Ord~nauce.
