ORDINANCE NO. NS-100AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 46 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW T~E RECLASSIFICATION. WHEI~, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 779 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and W/~, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot Five (5) of the Subdivision of part of the Ascension Sepulveda de Mott Tract as surveyed by E. R. Nichols on February 10th, 1874, and shown on a M~p recorded in Book page 197 of deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, said South- east corner being the intersection of the center line of Bristol Street with the center line of Edinger Street; thence North along the center line of Bristol Street 332.50 feet to a point in the Easterly extension of the Northerly line of Lot Four (4) of "The West Tract", as shown on a Map recorded in Book 31, page 21 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Westerly along said extended line and the North- erly line of Lots Four (4) and Five (5) of said Tract, 262.O1 feet; thence South 332.50 feet to the center line of Edinger Street and thence East 262.01 feet to thepoint of beginning, be reclassified from R-1 District {o the C-1 District and that Sheet No. 46 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 1349 is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
