ORDINANCE ND. NS-102 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF ~HAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "WIEGAND AND MA~i-r~S' ,ANNEX WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on March 14, 1955, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 55-72, which said Resolution was regularly published in the Santa Ana Inde- pendent and Orange Daily News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on May 2, 1955; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOTJ, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF '±~iE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all respects as required by law and as more particularly shown in the files of this proceeding, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent, of all the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City con- tracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at an angle point in the Southerly Boundary of the City of Santa Ana described as the intersection of the Southerly extension of the East line of the Seccombe Addition to Dyer as shown on a m~p thereof recorded in book 8, page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, Official Records of Orange County, California, with the North line of Seccombe Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 8, page 89 of said' Miscellaneous Maps and running thence South 89° 13' 55" East 12~3.~1 feet along said city boundary and said North line and the Easterly ex- tension thereof to the .Northwesterly line of Irvine Subdivision as shown on a map thereof receraed in book l, page 88 of said Miscellaneous Maps, said Northwesterly line being also the center line of Newport Avenue; thence South 39° 49' 25" West 106.54 feet along said North- westerly line and said center line; thence continuing along said North- westerly line and center line South 39° 48' 15" West 1593.61 feet to an intersection with the Easterly extension of the South line of said Seccombe Tract; thence North 89° 04' 15" West 816.02 feet along said
