ORDINANCE NO. NS--ll3 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTAANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 37 OF THE DISTRICTING NAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION ~HEREA~, the Planning Commission of Santa Anahas given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 800 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and I~EREAB, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the follow- lng amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point of intersection on the center line of First Street with the southerly prolonga- tion of.the west property line of Forest Avenue, run- ning thence south 330 feet; thence west 46o feet; thence north 330 feet; thence 460 feet to the point of beginning, be reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 District and that Sheet No. 37 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of t his Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
