O~INANCE NO. NS-12! AMEND~G ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA <br />MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING <br />SHEET NO. 49 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION <br /> <br />WHEEE~S, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly <br /> <br />held two public hearings in connection~ith an application for change of District <br /> <br />Classification and by Resolution No. 825 recommended to the City Council the <br /> <br />cha~e requested; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public <br /> <br />hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience <br /> <br />and generalwelfare require the follo~ring amendment and that the uses under the new <br /> <br />Classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FO~: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br /> <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Begtmmzing at an angle point in the Southerly Boundary of the City of <br />Santa Aha described as the intersection of the Southerly extension of <br />the East line of the Seccombe Addition to Dyer as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in Book 8, Page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, Official Records of <br />Orange County, California, with the North line of Seccombe Tract as shown <br />on a map thereof recorded in Book 8, Page 89 of said Miscellaneous Maps <br />and running thence South 89° 13' 55" East 1243.41 feet along said City <br />Boundary and said North line and the Easterly extension thereof to the <br />Northwesterly line of Irvine Subdivision as shown on a maD thereof recorded <br />in Book 1, Page 88 of said Miscellaneous Maps, said Northwesterly line being <br />also f~he center line of Newport Avenue; thence South 39° 49' 25" West <br />106.54 feet along s.~.d Northwesterly line and said center line; thence <br />continuing along samd Northwesterly line and center line South 39° 48' 15" <br />West 1593.61 feet to an intersection with the Easterly extension of the <br />South line of said Seccombe Tract; thence North 89° 04' 15" West 816.02 <br />feet alo~ said extension and Southline to the Southwest corner of said <br />Seccombe Tract; thence North 2° 18' 30"~ast 1321.68 feet along the West <br />line of said Seccombe Tract to the Northwest corner of said Seccomhe <br />Tract; thence South 88° 51' 10" East 442.90 feet along said North line of <br />said Seccombe Tract; to the center line of Harbor Road; thence continuing <br />along said North line South 89° 13' 55" East 165.00 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />Above described parcel is as shown on a Record of Survey recorded in Book 29, <br />Page 7 of Records of Survey of said Official Records of Orange County, <br /> <br />be reclassified from R-1 District to the M-1 District and that Sheet No. 49 of the <br /> <br />Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to shew <br /> <br />such reclassification. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this <br /> <br />Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its <br /> <br /> <br />
