NS-133 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 25 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREA~, the Planning Co~ni.ssion of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of District ClasSification and by Resolution No. 8~5 recommended to the City Council the 'change requested; and WHEREA~, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOE~ ORDAIN AS FOLLOWB: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Bounded Westerly by the East bank of the Santa Ana River; bounded Northerly by the Southerly line of Seventeenth Street; bounded Easterly by the Westerly line of King Street; and bounded Southerly by a line parallel to the South line of Seventeenth Street and distant therefrom, 175 feet, measured at right angles, be reclassified from R-1 District to the C-1 District and that Sheet No. 25 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana In- dependent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
