ORDINANCE NO. N$-I~ DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF <br /> THAT CERTAIN T~RITORY DESIGNATED "INDUSTRIAL ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on <br /> <br />July 18, 1955 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited ter- <br />ritory by Resolution No. 55-207, which said Resolution was regularly <br />published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due <br />notice of public hearing to be held on September 6, 1955; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, ~{EREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF T!tE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL0'~S: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was <br />no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that <br />due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said ter- <br />ritory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation <br />was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, <br />California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the <br />Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree- <br />lng that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any <br />indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing <br />at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of <br /> Standard Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, as described in a <br /> deed to Orange. County, California, and recorded October 22nd, <br /> 1930, in Book 423, page 368 of Official Records, with the <br /> South line of Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, <br /> S.B.B. & M., thence Easterly along the South line of said <br /> Section 18, and along the boundary line of the City of Santa <br /> Ana to the cmmmon corners of Sections 17, 18, 19, and 20, <br /> Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M., thence South <br /> along the West line of said Section 20, 5 chains; thence <br /> Easterly along the boundary of the City of Santa Ana to an <br /> angle point in said boundary line, thence Southerly a dis- <br /> tance of 4930.0o feet more or less to a point on the North <br /> line of Delhi Road 40.00 feet in width, said point being a <br /> distance of 266.94 Feet, more or less, Westerly measured along <br /> said North line of Delhi Road from the Center line of Newport <br /> Avenue, said Newport Avenue being 60.00 feet in width, thence <br /> Westerly along the Northerly line of said Delhi Road 1592.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
