ORDINANCE NO. N$-I~ DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN T~RITORY DESIGNATED "INDUSTRIAL ANNEX" WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on July 18, 1955 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited ter- ritory by Resolution No. 55-207, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on September 6, 1955; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, ~{EREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF T!tE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL0'~S: SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said ter- ritory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree- lng that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of Standard Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, as described in a deed to Orange. County, California, and recorded October 22nd, 1930, in Book 423, page 368 of Official Records, with the South line of Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M., thence Easterly along the South line of said Section 18, and along the boundary line of the City of Santa Ana to the cmmmon corners of Sections 17, 18, 19, and 20, Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M., thence South along the West line of said Section 20, 5 chains; thence Easterly along the boundary of the City of Santa Ana to an angle point in said boundary line, thence Southerly a dis- tance of 4930.0o feet more or less to a point on the North line of Delhi Road 40.00 feet in width, said point being a distance of 266.94 Feet, more or less, Westerly measured along said North line of Delhi Road from the Center line of Newport Avenue, said Newport Avenue being 60.00 feet in width, thence Westerly along the Northerly line of said Delhi Road 1592.00
