N~-l~$ AI~I~DING SECTION 3212 0P Ti~ SANTA ANA NUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE LEFT-HA~ID PARKIiQ'O ON 015 WAY STREETS THE cITy GOUNGIL OF THE ~IT~ OF SAi~TA ANA DOES ORDAI!~ ~S ~V'0LL0~flS: SEC'fiOi~ 1. ?nat Section 3212 of Chapter 2, Article III of, the Santa &ha llunicipal Code is hereby ~mendod to road as follows: ~Section 3212. Parallel and Diagonal Parking. No operator of any vehicle shall park said vehicle other than parallel with and within 18 inches of the right-hand curb upon any highway in the City except where said street has been designated by the City Council as a one way street and upon which street, signs giving notice of the fact that vehicles thereon are required to move rection only, have been posted at all when such operator may park a vehicle in one specified di- entrances to said street, adjacent to and within 18 inches of the left-hand curb of such one way street; and further except where said street has been marked to indicate that diagonal parking is permitted, by the placing of lines or markers upon the surface of the read,ray. Mo operator of any vehicle shall park said vehicle at any point where said street has been marked to iadicate diagonal parking or has been marked to indicate the corners of the parking stall fur- thest from the curb except entirely within any one space so indicated for the parking of a vehicle and in no case so that any Dortion of the vehicle is over or upon said lines or mark- ings on the roadway used to indicate a parking space or stall.~ SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to' the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within l~ days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
