ORDINANCE NO. NS-11~2 A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA NUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- ARIES AND .A,,~D~h'G S~W~RT NO. ~ ~U ~HE DISTRICTING NAP TO SHOW TM~ RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 867 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that pub- lic necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FGLIDWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point approximately 351.21' South of the intersection of the center lines of Occidental Street and Greenville Street (Fairview); thence South- erly along the center line of Greenville Street 521.78'; thence East 1198.05'; thence Northwesterly 520' to a point which is 1009.93' Easterly from the point of be- ginning; thence West 1009.93' to the point of beginning, be reclassified from R-1 District to the C-1 District and that a new ~heet to.be Numbered 54 be added to the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code to show such ~eclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, with- in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independ- ent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the CLERK OF THE COUNCIL 21st day o f November , 1955.
