ORDINANCE NO. NS-145 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA
<br />MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, AMEND-
<br />ING SHEET NO. 45, AND ADDING SHEETS NO. 56, 57 AND 58 TO ~ltE
<br />DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice
<br />
<br />of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica-
<br />
<br />tion for change of District Classification and by Resolution No.
<br />
<br />890 recomzaended to the City Council the change requested; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
<br />
<br />a public hearing on said application and does now find that public
<br />
<br />necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following
<br />
<br />amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be
<br />
<br />detrimental to the surrounding property.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES.
<br />
<br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
<br />
<br />County of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of
<br />Standard Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, as described in a
<br />deed to Orange. County, California, and recorded October 22nd,
<br />1930, in Book 423, page 368 of Official Records, with the
<br />South line of Section 18, Township 5 South, Range 9 West,
<br />S.B.B. & M., thence Easterly along the South line of said
<br />Section 18 to the common corners of Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20,
<br />Township 5 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. & M., thence Sout~
<br />along the West line of said Section 20, 5 chains; thence
<br />North 89° 16, 20" East 1615.03 feet, thence Southerly a dis-
<br />tance of 4930.oo feet more or less to a point on the North
<br />line of Delhi Road 40.00 feet in width, said point being a
<br />distance of 266.94 feet, more or less, Westerly measured along
<br />said North line of Delhi Road from the Center line of Newport
<br />Avenue, said Newport Avenue being 60.00 feet in width, thence
<br />Westerly along the Northerly line of said Delhi Road 1592.00
<br />feet, more or less, to the Easterly line of McCiay Street,
<br />said line being a distance of 25.00 feet measured at right
<br />angles East from the center line of said McClay Street,
<br />thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said McClay Street
<br />10.00 feet, more or less, to the Easterly prolongation of the
<br />Northerly line of Delhi Road, thence Westerly along the North-
<br />erly line of said Delhi Road and its Easterly prolongation a
<br />distance of 622.25 feet more or less to the Easterly llne of
<br />land described in a deed to Union Iron & Steel Co., a partner-
<br />ship, recorded January 14th, 1952 in Book 2273, page 464 of
<br />Official Records of Orange County, California, thence Northerly
<br />along the Eastsrly line of said land of Union Iron & Steel Co.
<br />a distance of b99.3 feet more or less to the Southerly line of
<br />Tract No. 684, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 20, Page 20
<br />of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
<br />thence North 89° 19' 15" West 597.3 feet more or less to the
<br />
