ORDINANCE NO. NS-153 AMENDING SECTION 3315 OF THE SANTA ~ANA <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE FIXING PARKING METER CHARGES ON CITY OWNED LOT <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 3315 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code <br /> <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> ~EOTION 3315. Deposit of Coin in Parking Lot Meter. <br /> <br /> Every person parking any vehicle on the municipally owned <br /> parking lot on the North side of Third Street between Birch <br /> and Ross Streets, shall immediately deposit in the meter in <br /> front of and regulating the parking stall occupied by such ve- <br /> hicle, a United ~tates coin or coins of the value and kind in- <br /> dicated on said meter for the period of time said vehicle is to <br /> <br /> remain so parked, at the rate of ten cents for e ach three hours, <br /> which said stall is to be so occupied between the hours of <br /> 8 o,clock A.M. and 6 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br /> If the parking meter affords an option as to combination <br /> <br /> of coins, there shall be immediately deposited coins of the <br /> kind indicated on said meter to provide payment for the park- <br /> lng time desired, and no person shall leave any vehtcle~parked <br /> in any such metered parking stall without depositing in such <br /> meter, coins for the entire time such vehicle is left so <br /> parked." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage <br />of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 <br />days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the dat~ of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br /> PA~SED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br /> at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of January, 1956. <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
