ORDINANCE NO. NS-156 DECLARING TH~ A~krNEXATION OF THAT <br />CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "ROSE <br /> <br />r <br /> <br /> W~tEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on <br />December 5, 1955 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 55-306, which said Resolution was regu- <br />larly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave <br />due notice of public hearing to be held on January 16, 1956; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no obJec~ions~or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br />protemt to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory <br /> <br /> was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was <br />filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, <br />California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the <br />Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree- <br />lng that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any <br />indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existi~ <br /> <br /> at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of <br />Orange, State of California~ described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast <br /> Quarter of Section 25, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, <br /> S.B.B. & M., described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point in the East line of the said <br /> Section 25, said point being located 475.00 feet South <br /> 0° 39' ~5" West from the Northeast corner of said Section <br /> 25, said point of beginning being on the City Limit line <br /> · O ! . <br /> of the City of Santa Aha, running thence South 0 39 45 <br /> West 150.00 feet along the East line of said Section 25, <br /> being along the City Limit line of the City of Santa Aha; <br /> thence North 89° 20' 15" West 322.00 feet; thence North <br /> 0° 39' 45" East 150.00 feet along.a line parallel with the <br /> said East line of said Section 25, thence South 89° 20' 15" <br /> East 322.00 feet to the point of beginning. <br /> Said bearings and distances are as shown on Record of <br /> Survey 30/9 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of <br /> Orange County, California, <br /> <br /> <br />
