ORDINANCE NO. NS-162 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 26 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RE- CLASSIFICATION ~tEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Arm has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 926 recommended to the City Council ~he change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of andrsgularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience end general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental tO the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF SANTA AEA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point at the center line of Tenth Street, 125 feet West of the West property line of Artesia Street; thence West .675.81 feet; thence South 681.86 feet; thence East 60 feet, thence North 125 feet; thence East 615.81 feet; thence North to the point of beginning be reclassified f~om R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 26 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
