ORDINANCE NO. NS-164 RE-ENACTING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION <br /> ~4~0 PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF AD VALOREM TAXES BY THE <br /> C6UNTY OF ORANGE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That a new Part to be Numbered 3 be added to Chapter <br /> <br />4 of Article II of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, in words and figures <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "Part 3. Ad Valorem Taxation. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2450. Tax Collection by County. <br /> <br /> All duties of assessing property and collecting taxes <br /> <br /> thereon provided to be performed by the City, shall be per- <br /> formed by the County Assessor and the County Tax Collector of <br /> the County of Orange, State of California, in accordance with <br /> the provisions of Sections 51500 through 51519 inclusive, of <br /> the Government Code, State of California, as the same now exist, <br /> may be amended, added to or re-enacted." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
