ORDINANCE NO. NS-171 A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA AMA M~ICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING S~:~T NO. 37 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RE- CLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 176 for change of District Classification, and recom- mended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AlIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at point in a line which is parallel with and 98~.00 feet measured at right angles West from the center line of Bristol Street, said point being located 180.00 feet Southerly along said parallel line from the intersec- tion of said parallel line with the center line of First Street; thence Easterly 75.00 feet parallel with the center line of Firwt Street; thence Northerly 15.00 feet parallel with the center line of Bristol Street; thence Easterly ll6.00 feet parallel with the center line of First Street; thence Southerly 165.00 feet parallel with the center line of Bristol Street; thence Westerly 191.00 feet parallel with the center llne of First Street; thence Northerly 150.00 feet parallel with the center line o£ Bristol Street to the point of beginning be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 37 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Sauta Ana Munici- pal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with- in 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
