ORDINANCE NO. NS-l$1 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SM~ET NO. 53 OF THE DISTRICTING NAP TO SNOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 179 for change of District Classification, and recom- mended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on Said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFOP~, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOF~ ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County ~f Orange, State of California, described as: The portion of Block I, of revised plat of West tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 13 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Ox~uge County, California, described as followm: Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of said Block I, distant Westerly 462.00 feet from the Northeast corner of said Block I, said point being the Northwest corner of land described in a deed to James R. Mitchell, and others, recorded January 3, 1956, in Book 3338, Page 329 of official records, thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said land of James R. Mitchell and its Southerly prolongation, 997.00 feet to the Southwest corner of land described in a deed to James R. Mitchell, and others, recorded January 3, 1956, in Book 3338, Page 328 of official records, thence Westerly parallel with the Northerly line of said Block I, 400.00 feet, thence Northerly 997.00 feet to a point on the Northerly line of said Block I, distant Westerly 400.00 feet from the point of beginning, thence Easterly along said Northerly linc 400.00 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom the Northerly 100 feet thereof. be reclassified from R-1 District to the C-2-PK District and that Sheet No. 53 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with- in 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Aha Inde- pendent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
