ORDINANCE NO. NS-i:5 DECLARING THE ANneXATION OF THAT <br /> CERTAIN TERRITORT DESIGNATED "BULLOCK'S ANI~X" <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on <br />February 2?, 19~6 declare its intention to annex certain uninhab- <br />ited territory by Resolution Mo. ~-~6, which said Resolution was <br />regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution <br />gave due notice of public hearing to be held on Nay ?, 19~6~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLIDWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due <br />notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri- <br />tory was wholly uninhabited at ~e time the petition for annexation <br />waa filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa <br />Ana, California; that written consent of all the owners was filed <br />with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, <br />agreeing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to <br />pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to <br />or existing at the time of annexation and that said property shall <br />be so taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the Southwest corner of the 43rd Annex of <br /> the City of Orange, as shown on Instrument Number 6764 filed <br /> with the Office of the County Recorder on January 20, 19~, <br /> County of Orange, State of California; thence Southerly along <br /> the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of said 43rd Annex <br /> to its intersection with the Northerly Santa Aha City Limits <br /> line as established by the City of Santa Ana Ordinance Number <br /> 907, called the "West of Orange Road Addition", passed on <br /> December ~0, 1929; thence Easterly along said City of ~anta Ana <br /> boundary to its intersection with the West line of North ~ain <br /> Street; thence Northerly along said West line of North ~ain <br /> ~treet to its intersection with the South line of said 4 rd <br /> Annex of the City of Orange; thence Westerly along said South <br /> line o£ said 4~d Annex to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />be and the s a~e is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the <br /> <br /> <br />
