ORDINANCE NO. NS-18? A~ENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUI~ARIES AND AM~ENDING SHEET NO. 34 OF ~HE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Cormnission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 184 for change of District Classification, and rec- onnmended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property, NOW, THERE~'0RE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Lots 15 to 22, inclusive, Tract 543, Lots I to 6, inclusive, Tract 420, and a parcel of land bounded on the North by the South line of Highland Street, on the East by Highland Street Tract, and on the South by the Westerly extension of the South line of the Highland Street Tract, being 230 feet from East to West and 300 feet from North to South be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-3 District and that Sheet No. 34 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Munici- pal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas- sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the s~me to be published with- in 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
