ORDINANCE NO. ~,~¥-2!o AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEETS NOS. i AND 2 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 195 for change of District Classifica- and recommended to the City Council the change requested; tion, and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now'find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol- lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property$ NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, situated at the rear of C-1 zoning on Seventeenth Street, between Bush Street and the S.P.E.R. right-of-way, and further described as: Parcel 1. The area bounded on the south by a line paral- lel with and 140.00 feet north of the north line of Seven- teenth Street, on the east by Spurgeon Street, on the west by Bush Street, and northerly by the S.P.R.R. right-of-way. Parcel 2. The area bounded on the south by a line pa~al- lel with and 145.00 feet north of the north line of Seven- teenth Street, on the west by Spurgeon Street, on the east by a line parallel with and 158.4 feet east of the east line of Spurgeon Street, and bounded northerly by the S.P. R.R. right-of-way. Parcel 3- The area bounded westerly by a llne parallel with and 158.4 feet east of the east line of Spurgeon Street, on the south by a line parallel with and 140.00 feet north of the north line of Seventeenth Street, and bounded northeasterly by the S.P.R.R. right-of-way, be reclassified from R-2 District to the R-3 District and that Sheets Nos. i and 2 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
