ORDINANCE NO. NS-213 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION <br />OF THAT CERTAI~ TERRI~0RY DESIGNATED "B~RNSTEIN <br />FIFTH STREET ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on <br />August 6, 1956 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 56-218, which said Resolution was <br />regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution <br />gave due notice of public hearing to be held on September 17, <br />1956; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests <br />to said proposed annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was <br />no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, <br />that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that <br />said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for <br />annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the <br />City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent of all the <br />owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption <br />of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory <br />shall be taxed to pay any iD~ebtedness or liability of said City <br />contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that <br />said property shall be so taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> ~at portion of the South half of the Southeast quarter <br /> of Section 10, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S.B.B. <br /> described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point in the centerline of West Fifth <br /> Street as conveyed to the County of Orange by deed recorded <br /> in Book 23~ Page 327, Deeds, Records of Orange County, <br /> California, said point being located 77.17 feet South <br /> 89° 35' 00" West from a bolt marking the Westerly end of <br /> the first course described in said deed to the County of <br /> <br /> <br />
