ORDINANCE NO, NS-220 DECLARING Tn~ ANNEXATION OF <br />THAT CERTAIN T~i'~I~f-DESIGNATED" S,E. S0~JTn3m~N <br />PACIFIC AND DELNI ANNEX" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on October 15, <br />1956, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution <br />No. 56-272, which said resolutionwas regularly published as required by law, and <br /> <br />which said resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on December 3, <br /> <br />1956; and <br /> <br />W}LMbhTAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said <br /> <br />proposed annexation; <br /> <br />NOW, TM_MHEFO~, '1'~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That after due h~ing, it finds that there was no protest <br /> <br />to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the <br /> <br />time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabit~ <br /> <br />at the time the petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to <br /> <br />the City of Santa Aha, California. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, <br /> <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Beginning at an angle point on the Santa ~na, California city limits <br />line, said angle point being the northeast corner of the "Townsend <br />Annexation" as established by the City of Santa AnaOrdinance No. <br />lB41, passed on April 21, 1952, said point of beginning being a point <br />on the North line of Delhi Road 554.54 feet easterly from the center <br />line of Standard Avenue measured along the north line of Delhi Road; <br />thence South 89° 20' 25" East 90.00 feet to the East Right-of-way~ <br />line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence South O° 34' 45" West <br />10.00 feet along said East line of the Railroad to the North line of <br />Delhi Road; thence South 89° 20' 25" East 577.88 feet along said <br />North line of Delhi Road; thence North 0° 33' BS" East 10.00 feet; <br />thence South 89° 20' 25" East 79.82 feet along said city boundary; <br />thence South 0° 26' 50" West 1152.00 feet; thence North 89° 20' 25" <br />West 800.25 feet to said City Boundary; thence North 2B° 16' 35" <br />East 130.00 feet along said city boundary; thence North 0° 3~' 45" <br />East 1032.00 feet along said city boundary to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Aha, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa An~ High School District and <br /> <br />Santa Ana Junior College District, and said annexation is by this Ordinance <br /> <br />effected, approved and declared. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this <br /> <br />Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its <br /> <br /> <br />
