ORDINANCE NO. NS-21) AMENDING EECTION 3216 OF THE <br />SANTA ANA M~ICIP~L CODE TO A~,'nORIZE PROR~ITION OR <br />LIMITING REGULATION OF PARKING WlTnAm' '~S CITY BY <br /> <br />T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ~ DOES OPJI~N AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION L. That Section 3216, Chapter 2, Article III of the Santa <br /> <br />Aha MAmicipal Code is hereby ~mended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section B216. ~.tm~ting or Prohibiting P~rking. <br /> <br /> "The Council may by Resolution prohibit alt stopping or <br />parking or both, al I stopping or parking or both during certain <br />hours, parking in excess ~f t~lve mtuutes, twenty-four minutes, <br />one hour or ~wo hours of any day on any streets or amy part <br />thereof wil~hin the City. When any such Resolution has been <br />adopted, no operator of any vehicle shall stop or park said <br />vehihle in violation of the terms ~f such Resolution in any <br />block, or part thereof, where two or more signs have been <br />posted giving notice of such stepping or parking prohibition <br />or limitation. <br /> <br /> "Any operator of any vehicle violating the ~provisions of <br />this Section by parking in excess of the ~--~, eg~l parking <br />time allowed is guilty of a further mud separate violation for <br />each ~x~od of time, e~l to the maximum legal parking time <br />designated by the Council by Resolution and shown on such signs, <br />that vehicle is left so parked." <br /> <br />~ECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage ~f <br /> <br />this OrdiUance a~ sh-l~ ~aause the same to be published wit~!~n 15 days after <br /> <br />its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Independent.
