ORDINANCE NO. NS-223 DECLARING THE ANI1EXATION <br /> OF THAT CERTA'IN "TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EDINGER SCHOOL <br /> <br /> W~EHEAS, the City Council of the City of Sant~a Aha did on <br />November 5, 1956 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited <br />territory by Resolution No. 56-282, which said Resolution was regularly <br />published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice <br /> <br />of public hearing to be he~l on December 17, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no <br />to said p~oposed annexation; <br /> <br />1956; and <br /> <br />objections or protests <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFOEE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW~: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no <br />protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that <br />due notice of the time and place of hearing was' given; that said <br />territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for <br />annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the <br />City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent of all the <br />owners was find with the C~rk o£ the Council prior to the adoption <br />of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory <br />shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City <br />contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that <br />said property shall be so taxed. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Tha~ all ~ the territory situated in the County <br />of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at an angle point on the City Boundary of the City <br /> of Santa Ana, said point bears North $0° 33' 30~ West 330.00 <br /> feet from a point on the center line of Edtnger~Street which <br /> bears South ~9° 29' 40" West 2641.92 feet from the intersec- <br /> tion of the center lines of Edinger Street and Bristol Street; <br /> thence North O0° 33' 30" West along.said City boundary 334.03 <br /> feet; thence South 89° 27'58" West 658.23 feet; thence South <br /> 00o 24' 19" East 333.70 feet~to an.angle point on said City <br /> boundary; thence North 89° 29' 40" East along said City <br /> boundary 659.12 feet to the point.of beginning, <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby annexed to and s~ll become a part o£ the <br />City of Santa Aha, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa <br />Aha High School District and Santa Aha Junior College District, ~ud <br /> <br /> <br />
