ORDINANCE NO. NS-233 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF TI~ SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CF~.ATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, AND AMENDING SBI~.MTS NO. 2, ~, 6, 8, 9, 14, 1~, 18, 19, 22, 23, AND 2~ OF THE DZSTRIOTING ~P T0 SHOW THE ~EOLASS- IFIOATION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No. 212 initiated by said Commission for Change of District Classifica- tion, and recommended to the City Council the change herein set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be det- rimental to the surx~unding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: The existing C-1 and 0-2 Districts abutting ~he north and south sides of East and West Seventeenth Street, between the East corporate limits at Wright and Mabury Streets, and the West corporate l~mtts at the Santa Aha River, be reclassified from the C-1 and C-2 Districts to the C-1-PK and C-2-PK Districts and that Sheets No. 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 14, 15, 18, 19, 22, 23 and 25 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass- age of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within 15 days after its adoption. This 0rcltmnce shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
