ORDINANCE NO. NS-235 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 12 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Appli- cation No. 214 for Change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the changes requested with the.modification of the addition of -PK requirements thereto; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience a~d general welfare require the following amendment md that the uses under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, ~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Parcel l: Twelve (12) acres off the North side of the following: Beginning at the Northeast corner of land set apart to William Ferguson in the partition of the Rancho Sa tiago de Santa Ana by the late Seventeenth Judicial Court in and for Los Angeles County, California~and run- ning thence North 10.035 chains; thence West 27.b0 chains to the East line of the railroad reservation; thence South- easterly along the Easterly line of said railroad reserva- tion to a point 20 chains West of the point of beginning; thence East 20 chains to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING any portion thereof included within the following: Beginning at a point 174.1 feet North of the Northeast cor- ner of the land aLllotted to said Wm. Ferguson; m nning thence North 179 feet; thence West 1587.8 feet to the East line of the railroad reservation; thence Southeasterly along the East line of s~ d r~ lroad reservation 225 feet to the Northwest corner of the land conveyed to W. J. Hole by deed recorded September ll, 1894 in Book 102, page 123 of Deeds; thence East 1452 feet to the point of beginning. ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom the portion included within the following: Beginning at a point l0 chains West of a point l0 chains North of the Northeast cor~er of the tract of land allotted to said Wm. Ferguson and running thence North l0 chains; thence West 5 chains; thence South l0 chains and thence East 5 chains to the point of beginning. ALSO EXCEPTING the portion included within Santa Ana Boule- vard as described in the action entitled City of Santa Aha, a municipal corporation, vs. W. Dean Johnston and George W.
